Quran is the Arabic word. The literally meaning of it is "The recitation." The holy Quran is the last book of God. It is the most sacred book of the Muslims. It contain's all messages of the past's books. It is the most finest literature of Arabic language.

The Holy Prophet (PBUH) received first revelation in the cave of Hira which is near to Holy Makkah. The first revelation was consists of five verses of Sora Alaq. The Holy Prophet (PBUH) receieved the Holy Quran over a period of 23 years.

Quran Kareem was written by different companions of Holy Prophet (PBUH). It wrote on the stones, date leaves and paper etc. First it was not collected. The different parts of the Holy Quran was assembled in reign of first muslim Caliph Hazrat Abu Bakar Siddique R.A.

The Holy Quran has 30 chapters and 114 Sora's (86 Makki and 28 Madni). It has 7 munzils, 540 Ruko's and 14 Sajda's. It has 6666 Aayats.

The Holy Quran gave rights to the women, childerns, slaves, old men and others. It gives the lesson of forbearance, peace, truth, tolerance, equality and justice. It gives order to help  poor and needy persons. It gives order us to worship only one God (Allah) who created the whole universe. 

The Holy Quran is the most reading book of the world. Millions of Muslims recite the Holy Quran daily. Thousands of Hafizs are present in every reign. Allah Ta'ala (God) tooks its responsibility of protection. Therefore even after the 14 hundred years, no single word of Holy Quan is changed. It is the last Message of God for whole huminity. We can get success in this world and the otherworld if we all  follow the Holy Quran and Sunnah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
